HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?

It is advisable to inform the dates, the number of people and the boat of interest. Your advisor will be able to recommend the most appropriate boat based on your needs.

The amount to confirm the reservation of the chosen boat corresponds to 50% of the total reservation and can be paid by credit card or bank transfer.

In a maximum term of 48 hours You will receive a confirmation email with all the necessary information for the day of boarding.

CAN YOU RENT A BOAT WITHOUT A SKIPPER?

En Palumba We want to respond to all the needs that our clients ask us, that is why We offer boats where skipper service is includedas the others in which you can navigate alone without the need for a skipper showing your nautical license.

Will be admitted degrees issued in Spain (GNP, PER, Yacht Master...) and qualifications from other countries published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).

We recommend hire a professional employer minimum for one day if you do not know the navigation area or if you do not have much navigation experience.

DO I NEED A LICENSE TO RENT A BOAT?
  • Yes, as long as you meet the requirements for nautical titles and experience sailing in any other charter company in the world. 
  • If you do not have a navigation license, you can rent a boat with a skipper. He will take the boat and make you discover the best places in the area.
  • In Spain, you can take a boat without a license up to 5 meters in length and up to 15 HP of power for motor boats and up to 6 meters in length for sailboats (specified areas only).
  • Depending on the boat you want to rent, its length and power, you will need to have an appropriate license. In Spain there are 4 different navigation licenses.

To sail outside of Spain, it is best to speak directly with the local authorities to find out the regulations in force.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RENT A BOAT?

The rental rate is freely set by the boat owner. This rate will depend on the type of boat selected, the period and duration of the rental.

If you want a skipper, this service has an extra cost per day. Fuel is also charged separately, depending on consumption.

ARE ALL BOATS ON THE WEBSITE AVAILABLE?

Our goal is to show only that selection of boats that are available at that time. However, due to the functioning of the sector and the high demand, for the moment availability will be confirmed by our sales team.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO WE NEED BEFORE BOARDING?

The documentation we request for the reservation is a copy of the DNI o Passport Number, if the reservation is without a skipper, the copy of navigation license in order to speed up the process of Check in the day of shipment.

WHAT IS THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT TO RENT?

The amount of the deposit is set by the conditions of the boat to be rented freely and depending on whether or not it is with a skipper. The deposit is used to pay for damage suffered by the boat, the insurance excess or any damage suffered by the owner. The deposit is managed directly through Palumba.
